Minions movie review

Minions Movie Review

Have you ever had a very low expectation on a movie and then surprised that you don’t get dissapointed and even delighted? Well that’s minions the movie, how hard i tried to see the flaw, the more i laughed on the funny side.

So the story is about the origins of the minions, the minions are existed before human exists, the minions are creatures that had a living purpose : to serve the most evil villain ever, from a tryrannosaurus Rex to Napoleon Bonaparte, these little fellas are masters in distrupting their master’s evil plan, and after blew Napoleon trough Russia, The Minions are lost, after much of years being unemployed, a minion, Kevin and two others, Bob and Stuart journeyed trough the world in a mission : to find the evil master worthy of their service, they found themselves in 1968 New York, after a brief encounter with a family of criminals, they took the minions to the Villain Con, where the Minions met Scarlett Overkill, the top of the pyramid at that time.

I will not gave you the entire story, it’s great and good, you need to see it yourself, but i think logic and understanding is missing in this movie, i mean i don’t understand what the minions are talking about, and this movie failed to explain to us why Minions are attracted to Evil?, but it’s maybe just me, i still enjoy this movie without thinking , and i felt enjoyed it.

The first time i heard about a movie starring minions , i think that this movie’s gonna be a merchandise movie, that’s true, the movie serves nothing in story, the only voice acting i care about in this movie is Sandra Bullock as Scarlett Overkill, Her voice is not raising the funny side of this movie, but it brings me the typical Bond-Villain femme fatale, She’s Sexy.

For the animation i still can’t relax and enjoy people with weird statures like really small head, or some unbelievably unique designed stuff like Scarlett’s skirt that could turned into a rocket that allows her to fly, i wonder how her thigh and feet coud handle the heat.
But overall i did enjoyed the minions and all their 1968 references like the minions met The Beatles crossing at Abbey Road or how the location of the Villain Con, the Family that gave them a ride turns out to be Bank Robber, and that little Gru serves as a great connector to the first Despicable Me movie

Even tough this is a merchandise movie,i love the jokes and the references  and Sandra Bullock is sexy

i’m gonna give this movie a B-on the scale of (A+) to (F-)
